New EPD for warm edge spacers SP14/SP18 from Technoform: Verified data for more sustainable construction

Carbon footprint

What is an EPD and why does it matter?

An EPD provides standardized, independently verified environmental data across a product’s life cycle. It is an essential tool for construction professionals conducting life cycle assessments (LCAs), meeting regulatory requirements, or contributing to green building certifications.

This transparent, verified data enables insulating glass manufacturers, specifiers, facade consultants, and engineering firms to integrate environmental performance more easily into design and material selection decisions.

A Particularly Low Carbon Footprint

The new EPD confirms a carbon footprint of just 0.118 kg CO₂e per linear meter for our reference products, the SP14 and SP18 spacers (A1-A3).

Aby uzyskać więcej informacji, skorzystaj z naszego narzędzia Porównywarka śladu węglowego, która pozwala wizualizować i porównywać ślad węglowy różnych rozwiązań ramek dystansowych stosowanyc w szybach zespolonych.
