2. Processing of your personal data by the administrator of the relevant social media platform
The administrator (meaning the company that operates the respective social network and provides it for use, e.g. Facebook) of each social media platform is responsible for the collection and further processing of personal user data on their web pages. The administrator will collect and process certain information about your visit to our social media pages even if you do not have a user account or are not logged in.

3. Processing of your personal data by Technoform
As the operator of the social media page, we can only view your public profile and the information displayed here depending on your profile settings (e.g. your name and profile picture). We also process your personal data if you contact us directly via our page. We process your personal data for the purpose of processing and, if necessary, responding to your posts accordingly. Depending on the reason and content of communications, this processing is in accordance with our legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, particularly to contact you regarding your inquiries or posts, in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your inquiry relates to the conclusion of an agreement with us.
4. Processing of your personal data by Technoform and the administrator of the relevant social media platform as joint controllers
The administrators of the relevant social media platforms provide us with “Page Analytics” data. This relates to anonymous statistics that we can use to evaluate the quality of our social media pages and content. These statistics are gathered based on usage data that the administrators of the relevant social media platforms collect on your interaction with our page. We do not have access to this usage data. The administrators of the relevant social media platforms have warranted to us that they will assume responsibility for compliance with the applicable obligations regarding the Page Analytics data and the fulfilment of your rights under the GDPR and to provide you with the main points of the applicable agreement to this effect.

This processing is in accordance with our legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, particularly to identify user preferences and to tailor and improve the content of our social media pages for our target audience as far as possible.
5. Processing of your personal date by Hootsuite on behalf of Technoform
We use the social media management tool ‘Hootsuite’ to manage our social media channels. Among other things, we use Hootsuite to plan and publish social media posts, to interact with users and for analysis purposes (e.g. to view statistics on reach and target groups). Your personal data is transmitted to Hootsuite but limited to data that is publicly visible on your social media profile.
Hootsuite processes your personal data on our behalf. To ensure an appropriate level of data protection, Hootsuite has made a contractual commitment to us within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR to comply with the provisions of data protection law (data processing agreement).
When Hootsuite processes data, your data may be transmitted to servers in Canada. Canada is a third country which, according to the adequacy decision of the European Union, is certified as having data protection in accordance with the standard of the European Economic Area (see https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/en/TXT/?uri=CELEX%3A32002D0002).

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR if you have given the operator of the social media platform your consent to the processing and transmission of your personal data to the extent specified above. In addition, data processing is carried out based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in the efficient administration, planning and analysis of our social media channels.
6. Scope and Duration
We will store your personal data on our systems outside of the social media platform if and as long as needed for the purposes of collection or as required by legal record-keeping obligations.
You are neither legally nor contractually obligated to share your personal data. Nevertheless, a processing of your personal data is inevitable if you want to visit our social media pages.
It is possible that some of the information collected will also be processed outside of the European Union. To ensure an adequate level of data protection, the administrators of the relevant social media platforms base such data transmission on the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission if necessary or additional safeguarding mechanisms.
7. Your rights
If your personal data is processed, you are a data subject within the meaning of the GDPR. You are therefore entitled to assert the rights described below.
To exercise these rights regarding data processing by the social media platforms, where possible, please contact the administrator of the relevant social media platform directly using the contact information provided by them on their web pages. In other cases, or if you have any other concerns, please contact our data protection officer presented above at any time.
7.1. Right of access; Art. 15 GDPR
You have a right to request confirmation as to whether we are processing your personal data at no charge. You also have the right to obtain details about any such data processing and to receive a copy of such data.
7.2. Right to rectification; Art. 16 GDPR
You have a right to have your personal data rectified if inaccurate. In addition, you may request the completion of your data should it be incomplete.
7.3. Right to erasure and restriction of processing
Data stored by us will be erased as soon as it is no longer required for its intended purpose and erasure does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations. Otherwise, in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, you have the right to demand that relevant data be erased immediately or, alternatively, to demand a restriction on the processing of the data in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR.
7.4. Right to data portability; Art. 20 GDPR
You have the right to receive personal data concerning you that we have processed and to have such data transferred to another controller.
7.5. Right to object; Art. 21 GDPR
You may object to processing of personal data concerning you which is based on the pursuit of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You also have the right to object, in particular if your data is used for direct marketing purposes or on grounds relating to your particular situation.
7.6. Right to withdraw consent; Art. 7 (3) GDPR
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. In some cases, we may provide you convenient technical means to opt out. Should this not be the case in any particular situation, you may contact our data protection officer in order to withdraw your consent.
7.7. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
We do, of course, endeavour to ensure that you may effectively enforce your rights. Should you believe that your data has been processed unlawfully, you may (without prejudice to any other legal remedy) lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
