2 Purpose and legal basis

We process personal data for the purpose of organizing, operating and documenting a group‑wide idea and innovation process.

The online platform “Wazoku” serves as a digital tool enabling employees to submit, discuss and further develop work‑related ideas in a structured manner.

Any employee may post problems or requests on the online platform to give other employees the opportunity to contribute ideas.

Within the platform, we process the following data of employees of the Technoform Group:

  • Names
  • Contact details
  • Division affiliation
  • Idea content

Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the continuous development of the group through employee ideas).

Where necessary, processing is additionally carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 BDSG, in particular for the documentation of work‑related inventions.

The data will not be deleted, as employee inventions must be documented and potential patent disputes must be defended.

 

3 Recipients of personal data


Several companies of the Technoform Group have access to the platform and therefore to your data. In addition, data may be shared with customers and other business partners to the extent necessary for operational purposes if this is required to achieve the stated purposes.

Furthermore, data may be disclosed to authorities on the basis of statutory provisions pursuant to Art. 6(1)(c) and (e) GDPR.

In certain cases, processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR may be used who, in connection with their services, receive data from us or may have access to your data. In this context, data transfers outside the EU may also take place. We ensure that either an EU adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR exists for the respective destination country or that we have concluded agreements with the relevant service providers based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.
