2 Purpose and legal basis

We process your data based on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), HIPPA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and all other laws relevant to us in terms of data protection.

We process the following categories of personal data for the purpose of organization and hosting of online meetings:

  • names,
  • contact details,
  • company data,
  • video/image recordings,
  • communication data.

The personal data concerning you is being processed for the purpose of organization and hosting online meetings based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR. Without the provision of personal data, participation in our online meetings is not possible.

Based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), we may also take images and video sequences during online meetings for documentation, training, or informational purposes.

The data from online meetings will be deleted after the end of the statutory retention periods. Data that we use for advertising purposes will be deleted after the end of the advertising campaign.

3 Recipients of personal data

We will only pass on your data to third parties if this should become necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose. Furthermore, data may be passed on to authorities based on legal provisions in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (c) and (e) GDPR.

In addition, in various cases we engage processors in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR, who may receive data from us or have access to your data in connection with their service. In this context, personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the United States. Where required by applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR, we ensure that such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, including adequacy decisions issued by the European Commission pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 (2)(c) GDPR, or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
