2 Purpose and legal basis

We process your data based on our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR to appropriately organize our business operations: 

  • if you contact us and there is no contract initiation.
  • if you have been named as a contact person for us while providing our services to our customers.

If the data processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, the data processing takes place based on Art. 6 (2) (c) GDPR.

We process the following categories of personal data:

  • names,
  • addresses,
  • contact details,
  • other data that you provide to us as part of your request or that is necessary for the processing of your request.
  • Without providing the requested personal data, we may be unable to process your request. 

 

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, and protect our legal rights. When no longer needed, the data will be securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with our record retention policies.

3 Recipients of personal data

We will only pass on your data to third parties if this should become necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose. Furthermore, data may be passed on to authorities based on legal provisions in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (c) and (e) GDPR.

In addition, in various cases we engage processors in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR, who may receive data from us or have access to your data in connection with their service. In this context, personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the United States. Where required by applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR, we ensure that such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, including adequacy decisions issued by the European Commission pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 (2)(c) GDPR, or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
