BioLegend Campus

San Diego, California

The 8-acre campus design included a complete overhaul of three out of four older buildings. One demolished building was replaced by the main campus building with an iconic 70-foot-tall atrium as its focal point. The stunningly transparent atrium consists of a glass roof, a glass soffit and three glass walls that are each over 50’ tall.

Forward thinking sustainable strategies were introduced, including copious amounts of natural lighting through large windows and the atrium structure. As part of the larger project, the team replaced the existing glazing with new high-performance glazing.
