Information for prospective customers, suppliers, service-providers and partners

1. Purpose and legal basis

We process your data based on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and all other data protection laws relevant to us.

We process data from prospective customers, existing customers, service-providers and other partners in order to initiate and execute contracts in accordance with Article 6(1b) of the GDPR:

  • Contact details of our points of contact
  • Order data
  • Billing data
  • Bank details
  • Contract data


We process these data for the following purposes:

  • Processing and management of invoices and contracts
  • Preparation of the annual accounts
  • Processing of samples by our laboratory
  • Management of supplier data
  • Performance of financial accounting processes
  • Data are stored for the duration of the corresponding contractual relationship in each case. They are deleted at the end of the contractual relationship and/or at the end of the legal retention period.
     

2. Recipients of personal data

We only pass on your data to third parties – including other Technoform companies – if it is necessary to do so in order to fulfil a purpose. We also pass on data to authorities and social security agencies based on statutory provisions in accordance with Article 6(1c) and (1e) of the GDPR.

Data are passed on to our external tax consultant to the extent necessary in order to process our accounts, carry out payroll accounting, prepare balance sheets and take care of other tax matters. In some cases, we also use processors in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR who may receive data from us in connection with the services they provide or have access to your data.
 

3. Your rights

You have the following rights with respect to us with regard to your personal data:

  • Right to information
  • Right to revoke consent
  • Right to have data corrected or deleted
  • Right to restrict processing
  • Right to object to processing
  • Right to data portability

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority regarding the way in which we process your personal data.
 

4. Up-to-date status and modification of this privacy statement

This privacy statement is currently valid. It may become necessary to modify this privacy statement due to the further development of our offerings or due to the amendment of statutory or official provisions.

 

 

Information for applicants and employees

1. Purpose and legal basis

We process your data based on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and all other data protection laws relevant to us.

We store the information on our applicants and employees required for personnel management and carry out payroll accounting:

  • Contact details
  • Contract data
  • Health data
  • Wage data
  • Social security data
  • Family background data
  • Application data

Data processing is carried out based on §26 of the BDSG. It is not possible to process applications or manage the employment relationship later on unless these data are provided. Data are stored for the duration of the employment relationship and, after that relationship ends, until the end of the legal retention periods.

Applicants’ data will be deleted 6 months after the end of the application procedure. By way of exception, we may store data for a longer period of time with the applicant’s consent.
 

2. Recipients of personal data

We only pass on your data to third parties if it is necessary to do so in order to fulfil a purpose. In the interest of applicants (Article 6(1f) (GDPR), we also pass on applicants’ data to other Technoform companies if the applicant’s profile is suitable. We also pass on data to authorities and social security agencies based on statutory provisions in accordance with Article 6(1c) and (1e) of the GDPR.

Data are passed on to our external tax consultant to the extent necessary in order to process our accounts, carry out payroll accounting, prepare balance sheets and take care of other tax matters. Employee data will be sent to travel agencies and hotels as well as car hire companies, airlines and rail operators to the extent required for the purpose of planning and booking business trips. We also pass on employee data to other Technoform companies in order to ensure effective communications within Technoform.

In some cases, we also use processors in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR who may receive data from us in connection with the services they provide or have access to your data.
