Manager, Business Systems

We are seeking a strategic leader, with prior experience in manufacturing companies, with the ability to lead multiple teams and functions, to help optimize our North America’s business management systems. This role is critical to the success of the business, to ensure our systems management team and company processes directly support the sales and operations teams and short- and long-term organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have experience leading strategic change management and continuous improvement initiatives across technical, manufacturing environments, scaling processes and leading teams to meet market sales and operational goals.
Your responsibilities
Team Leadership and Strategic Oversight:
- Develops and executes strategies to optimize the business systems and processes, ensuring alignment with Technoform’s vision, philosophy, and regional objectives.
- Collaborates with general managers and team managers to implement transformational change processes, systems, and initiatives that serve the needs of our customers and expands Technoform’s market capabilities.
- Provides strategic direction and mentorship to team members on ways to improve operational efficiency, manage risk, and streamline business performance.
- Provides mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Manages strategic market relationships; collaborates and develops strategies to maintain and expand Technoform’s position in the market which includes engaging and managing external resources (such as financial institutions, legal counsel, consultants).
- Oversees P&L, cash management, budgeting, financial planning, and analysis within management systems to ensure fiscal responsibility and alignment with business goals.
- Partners with team members to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost optimization, market expansion, and revenue growth.
- Develops others and leads with Technoform’s Values, Philosophies and Principles, maintaining a culture and team-based environment of open communication, mutual respect, entrepreneurship, and shared accountability.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure all systems operate effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with Technoform’s regulatory and group-wide global requirements.
- Collaborates globally across the Technoform network to leverage synergies, support or lead group-wide initiatives, and efficient planning and reporting.
- Leads cross-functional transformational change management projects to expand market presence, minimize economic volatility, streamline processes, enhance quality, and reduce redundancy.
- Establishes, monitors, and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for systems management team to evaluate performance and inform team decision-making
Your qualifications and opportunities
Your qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, finance, industrial engineering or related field is required. Project Management Certification or MBA are preferred.
- Must have 5-7 years of experience in leading and managing multiple teams in a technical or advanced application manufacturing company. Industry experience is preferred.
- Strong P&L and market-based business acumen; must have prior experience with leading and facilitating annual business and strategic planning, sales forecasting, and budget development.
- Demonstrated knowledge of compliance, quality management systems, and continuous improvement using lean manufacturing principals.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, must be able to think critically and creatively to respond to industry and market opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt their communication style to the needs of others.
- Ability to work within and across teams, in a process-oriented organization, to accomplish results.
- Possess entrepreneurial skills and customer orientation to support the needs of both external and internal customers.
- Willingness to travel as needed for meetings or company events, roughly 10-15%.
